Getting help

PDHD is made by one developer. Email is the only support channel, and every message is read by a person.

Write to: pdhd_support@chapter.de

Expect a reply within a few working days. There is no account system, so please write from an address you can be reached at.

What to include

It saves a round trip if your first message mentions:

Please don't send screenshots containing lab values, session data or anything else you'd rather not share — a description is nearly always enough, and PDHD's developer has no access to your data.

Common questions

Apple Health data isn't showing
Open the Health app → Profile → Apps → PDHD, and check that reading is allowed for weight, blood pressure and blood glucose. iOS never tells an app that read access was denied, so PDHD cannot detect this for you and simply shows no data.
Data isn't syncing between my devices
Sync uses your own iCloud account. Make sure every device is signed in to the same Apple Account with iCloud Drive on. Settings shows “iCloud unavailable — local only” when it can't reach iCloud; the app keeps working locally and syncs once it can.
The Apple Watch shows a different amount of supply
Fixed in version 1.6. Older builds estimated remaining supply on the Watch instead of using the real bag volumes from your deliveries. Update both the iPhone and Watch apps.
Remaining supply looks too low
Remaining is counted from deliveries recorded in the app. If you already had stock before you started tracking, enter it under Settings → Starting Stock so it's included.
How do I delete my data?
Settings → Delete All Health Data removes every session, lab result, delivery and contact from the device and from your iCloud copy. Data written to Apple Health is deleted in the Health app, under Profile → Apps → PDHD.

PDHD is not medical advice

PDHD is a self-management and record-keeping tool. It is not a medical device, and nothing in it is medical advice.

Support cannot answer clinical questions — about your results, your prescription, or your treatment. Please take those to your nephrology team.

In an emergency, contact your local emergency services.
